Privacy Policy

Summary

Shift Daily is a personal progress-photo app. In the current version, the photos you take are stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account, and it does not upload your photos to a server operated by us.

Camera access

Shift Daily asks for camera permission so you can take your daily check-in photo inside the app. Camera access is used only while you are actively capturing a photo. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings; the rest of the app remains usable, though you will not be able to capture new daily photos.

Photos and where they are stored

Photos you capture in Shift Daily are saved to app storage on your iPhone. They are used to build your timeline and transformation slideshow inside the app. We do not have access to them.

Because photos live on your device, they may be included in your device backups (for example, iCloud or encrypted computer backups) according to your own iOS settings. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us.

Accounts and cloud storage

This version of Shift Daily has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend or cloud storage operated by us. We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact details through the app.

Analytics and third parties

This version of the app does not include our own analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not share your photos with third parties. Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying App Store statistics if you have opted in to share analytics with developers in your iOS settings.

Selling personal data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or license your photos.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual photos from within Shift Daily. Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the app's stored photos from the device. If you previously saved a photo to your system Photos library, deleting it in Shift Daily does not remove that separate copy — delete it in the Photos app as well.

Children

Shift Daily is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

Shift Daily is actively being developed. If future versions add features such as accounts, cloud sync, or backups, this policy will be updated to describe them before or when those features ship. Please check this page for the most current version.
